Many of these remedies have been used for years with success, long before the advent of teeth bleaching and whitening strips. So the next time you want to keep your teeth looking nice have a look in your kitchen for some natural teeth whitening product. 

Kitchen Fixes For Natural Teeth Whitening Remedy

Baking soda is not just for baking, you can use baking soda as a natural teeth whitening remedy. Baking soda can be mixed with many other ingredients to make up homemade toothpaste that you can use daily or a few times a week to keep your teeth healthy and white. Best of all it doesn’t cost much and can be stored easily. 

A basic natural teeth whitening remedy you can use is a tooth powder made from baking powder, orange rind, and salt. Put two tablespoons of dried orange peel in a food processor and process until you have a fine powder. Add a quarter cup of baking soda and two teaspoons of natural salt. Process until you have a well combined powder.

Store this powder in an airtight jar and use it regularly to brush your teeth. Baking soda is great at removing stains, when used with salt it can be extremely effective. This natural teeth whitening remedy helps to kill bacteria and keep plaque at bay. 

If you really want to step up the whitening process then you can use a teaspoon of this basic natural teeth whitening remedy and add a quarter teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide might seem like an unusual ingredient to put into your homemade natural teeth whitening remedy but it is present in many whitening toothpastes. Brush your teeth with this mixture and you should see visible results.

Another way to clean your teeth and keep your breath fresh is to eat fresh uncooked vegetables that have a little bite. Have some celery or carrot sticks with lunch, or add cucumbers to a salad to help keep your teeth white. Broccoli is another vegetable that can help with dental hygiene. Regular intake of these vegetables can make a big difference to the appearance of the teeth.
